Comparison

One of these is hours. One of these is software.

An ISA desk is people making calls. It is the incumbent solution to this problem and for some books it is the right one. Here is the honest split.

What an ISA actually gives you

A human being who can hear hesitation, handle an objection they have not seen before, and pick up a phone at the moment somebody is thinking about it. That is not a small thing and no amount of software replaces it.

What it costs is not only money. It is hiring, ramp, scripts, QA, and the fact that the good ones leave, and every one of those costs is paid again for the next person.

Side by side

One row per thing an agent actually asks about.

Everything below about Lewis is checkable in this product. Everything about the other side is a description of the CATEGORY it belongs to, not a claim about its internals. For anything specific, and for current pricing, read their own documentation. If something here is out of date or unfair, tell us and it gets fixed.

Where Lewis wins

The dead list. Four hundred contacts that need one specific question each is exactly the work a person will not do consistently at hour six, and exactly the work that does not require judgement: most of those conversations end in “no” or silence, and the value is in reaching all of them rather than in handling any one of them well.

Text also beats a call for a cold reactivation, for an unglamorous reason: a call from an unknown number in the middle of a workday is an imposition, and a text is not.

Where an ISA wins

Live, warm, and complicated. Somebody who is halfway to a decision and has three worries about it needs a person, and needs one now. Lewis is built to hand that conversation over at exactly the point it appears, which means an ISA desk and Lewis are not really competing for the same conversation.

The comparison nobody makes

An ISA desk that is working your dormant list is an ISA desk not working your live leads. Whatever hours you buy, they are finite, and they get spent on the top of the pile. The bottom of the pile is where the four hundred names are.

Using both

This is the pairing that makes the most sense of any on the site. Lewis works the dormant list and hands over anything warm; the ISA takes the handovers and the live leads, and stops spending their afternoon on people who moved two years ago.

Your book is already full of people who meant it.

Point Lewis at the export and he works it over text, every draft still waiting on your yes.
